Who and What is IsMyCharity.com?

    IsMyCharity.com is the brain child of Chris Boufford.  Chris saw the online economy eroding bricks-and-mortar companies' grips on local economies.  He sees in this a two-edged sword. 

    On the one side it allows consumers the convenience of shopping from home, shopping the best prices and products and the convenience of home delivery.

    The other side, though, is that the money earned locally does not stay local when an internet company in another state, or even another country processes a transaction. 

    What IsMyCharity.com offers is a way to keep at least a portion of those internet purchases local by dedicating a portion of your internet purchases to the charity of your choice through a mechanism called affiliate marketing.  

    IsMyCharity.com has affiliations with hundreds of online merchants, many of whom are already familiar to you.  Through those affiliations and special tracking codes embedded in the merchants' links.  IsMyCharity.com is paid commissions based on sales generated through the links on our sites. 

    The tracking codes also enable us to track the sales from individual subsites (i.e.,"<yourCharity>.IsMyCharity.com").  YOUR PRIVACY IS ASSURED BECAUSE what we don't do however, is monitor purchases on a personal basis.  This means we do not know who you are, nor do we need to know in order to direct some of your purchase money toward your charity of choice.  You can tell us  who you are, ask questions, suggest merchants, or just "shoot the bull" anyway, if you want to, by e-mailing Chris.

   Find your product, find your merchant, find your best price, then come to us and find your charity's sub-site. 
Click your chosen merchant's link, and make your purchase. 
You'll pay the same price, and a portion will go to your charity of choice.
